Pharmaceutical Services

Pharmaceutical Services are provided by the Barbados Drug Service, which is responsible for the annual production of the Barbados National Drug Formulary, and for the procurement and distribution of the drugs listed in the formulary. The Drug inspectorate maintains the inspections and licensing programme for pharmacies (public and private) and drug manufacturing plants in keeping with the requirements of the Health Services Act.
