Health Services Resilience Program

Transforming Healthcare Through Modern Infrastructure, Expanded Services and Digital Innovation

Building a Healthier, More Resilient Barbados

The objective of this programme is to enhance the overall health and well-being of the population of Barbados by strengthening the prevention, early detection, and management of non-communicable diseases; improving nutrition and physical activity; and improving mental wellness through a community-based primary healthcare approach. The program will also be supported by relevant sector stakeholders.

This Program represents an innovative financing approach, as it brings together multiple MDBs under a coordinated debt swap strategy to support strategic health investments and health system transformation.
