The Childhood Obesity Prevention Youth Health Summit, in collaboration with the Barbados School Nutrition Policy, will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, March 4.

It will take place at Sandals Royal Barbados, Maxwell, Christ Church, where Minister of Education Transformation, Chad Blackman, will deliver the feature address, while Minister of State in the Ministry of Health and Wellness, Davidson Ishmael, will deliver remarks.

The Summit, which is also in recognition of the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Barbados’ 40th anniversary, aims to bring students and teachers from across the island together for meaningful engagement on key issues surrounding childhood health and the growing trend in childhood obesity, along with issues concerning non-communicable diseases.
