Fogging On Case-By-Case Basis
The Ministry of Health and Wellness is temporarily conducting fogging on a case-by-case basis, as it evaluates the efficacy of its weekly fogging programme.
Acting Chief Environmental Health Officer, Euroline Welch-Drakes, said the aim is to improve the service to the community.
In the meantime, the Ministry, through its Vector Control Unit, will continue to respond to the public’s demand for mosquito control by fogging high-risk and high mosquito density areas.
Ms. Welch-Drakes added that routine fogging will resume shortly.
Members of the public are reminded to contact the Environmental Health Department of the nearest polyclinic to report problems with mosquitoes.
