Mobile Clinic Schedule For August

Members of the public are encouraged to take advantage of the free services being offered by the Ministry of Health and Wellness’ mobile clinic for the month of August.

The locations and times for the clinic, which operates from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., are listed below.

• Wednesday, August 13 – Welches Post Office, Welches, St. Michael

• Thursday, August 14 – Church Village Hard Court, Church Village, St. Philip

• Saturday, August 16 – Maxwell Wesleyan Holiness Church, Maxwell Hill, Christ Church

• Thursday, August 21 – Cost-U-Less, Welches, St. Thomas

The mobile clinic’s services include routine screening for non-communicable diseases, prostate-specific antigen testing, blood pressure checks and blood sugar testing, screening for sexually transmitted infections, and breast examination and teaching. Vaccines are not administered by the clinic.
